THE MOORISH CITIES OF LAGOS IN NIGERIA AND PORTUGAL
By Jide Uwechia
The capital of Nigeria and the biggest state in Nigeria, West Africa are named Lagos. Lagos is an Iberic word which means the lakes. The province of Algrave in Portugal also has a city by the name of Lagos. How come the capital of Nigeria is situated in a locality named after a Portugese word is one of those not so known incidents of history.
We shall now take a look at the ancient Moorish Lagos, the Lagos that was first situated along the coastal regions of Algrave (al-Gharb), in Portugal southern Europe. There black men lived as kings and princes, Amirs and Caliphs, and ruled, directed and cultured the Europeans until they became semi-civilized and began to threaten the very foundation of nature.
Yes there is a city of Lagos in Portugal which belongs to the great annals of Black history.
The Portugese black Moorish Lagos is an ancient maritime town with more than 2,000 years of history.
Moorish Lagos was an no settlement from the neolithic ages which later got settled by the black Moorish Carthaginians. It is instructive to recall that the Carthaginians were Canaanite colonists who working together with the Numidians, the Garamantes and Touaregs built what was known by later day historians as the Carthaginian empire.
The Canaanites also called Phoenicians were part of the hamitic/semitic culture of north-east Africa. The Bible, the Torah, the Koran and all other relevant books that emanate out of the near east confirm that the Canaanites were an Ethiopic people who originally came from Africa and roamed all over the world.
According to William Smith, Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography 1866, the Canaanites were:
“These Moors, who must not be considered as a different race from the Numidians, but as a tribe belonging to the same stock, were represented by Sallust (Sal. Jug. 21) as a remnant of the army of Hercules, and by Procopius (B. V. 2.10) as the posterity of the Cananaeans who fled from the robber Joshua; he quotes two columns with a Phoenician inscription. Procopius has been supposed to be the only, or at least the most ancient, author who mentions this inscription, and the invention of it has been attributed to himself; it occurs, however, in the history of Moses of Chorene (1.18), who wrote more than a century before Procopius. The same inscription is mentioned by Suidas (s. v.), who probably quotes from Procopius. According to most of the Arabian writers, who adopted a nearly similar tradition, the indigenous inhabitants of N. Africa were the people of Palestine, expelled by David, who passed into Africa under the guidance of Goliah, whom they call Djalout. (St. Martin, Le Beau, Bas Empire, vol. xi. p. 328; comp. Gibbon, c. xli.).”

Lagos became a prominent city from this time of the original Black Moors who were sometimes called Phoenicians or Canaanites or Ethiopians or Africans. It was a major maritime centre, renowned for its ship building industry and maritime trade networks.
From Roman Domination to Moors
The Romans rebels of the ancient Carthaginian empire destroyed the state power from within and took over the physical estate of the Moorish kingdom of Carthage. That was the beginning of the invention of the Rome empire; an entreprise of marauding robbers who gobbled all of colonies and trade network of Carthage. The great Moorish General Hannibal gave his youth and life in that struggle. That was how come Rome became a Universal Empire.
In this process Romans came to colonize Lagos and made it part of the Roman province Lusitania.
Rome was not to last as it was in a crumbling state by the middle of the 5th century AD. Its territories were lost to barbarian invasions or independent aspirations of colonized people. Lagos was soon taken over by the hordes of Visigoths and Vikings who lurked around the coastal regions of North Africa and sourthern Europe for a couple of 100 years, until the invasion of the Moorish army led by General Tarikh.
The Moors came in the eighth century. They renamed the town Zawaia for Lagos (lakes), in Arabic. They named the region where it was situate al-Gharb (hence the name Algarve).
The Moors fortified the city, and established important trade links. It became the center of Moorish trading endeavours on the Atlantic. From there ships would take off, circumnavigate Africa, on their way to India and China. Moorish ships were sent from Lagos to trading networks far out in the Americas and the Caribbean Islands. Lagos quickly grew in wealth and importance. It soon became the light of the province of the Algraves and was known as the Queen of the Algraves.
The Visigoths Re-enter:
The descendants of the Visigoths and the Vikings banded together in a racial-bruder bond and conducted a scorch earth war policy against the Moors for centuries, led and organized by the Roman Catholic Church Organization. They targeted Lagos due to its wealth and technical knowledge.
Algraves and Lagos were finally captured by the conquistadas the united bruder-bond of white supremacy knights led by the agent of Roman Catholic church later to be known as King Afonso III of Portugal in 1241. After the complete capture of Algarve in 1249 Afonso gave himself the title “King of Portugal and the Algarve”, stressing the fact that the Algarve, after the long rule by the Moors, was considered a foreign country and not part of Portugal.
Algrave held its own even after this defeat and the conquistados were content to take taxes, and books of knowledge from the Moors who remained behind in their ancient domains.
As the Portugese understudied the Moors, the other arm of conquistados finally penetrated into Espana some 250 years later with the conquest of Granada. This marked a water-shed in the evolution of racism and racial identity of the pale skin European. For his very identity and nationalities were formed in response to the cultural stimuli and challenges presented by the Moors in the Europe.
Following the conquest of Granada in Espana, the pale European sought to throw off his inferiority complex that he had felt towards the Moors. They unfurled their theory of “dialectical materialism,” a notion of a perpetual struggle against the irreconcilable other, as represented by the Moorish nations. The struggle was to entail any weapon necessary to maintain the supremacy of the pale skin nations from then onwards.
The Moor became fair target for everything, including racism, slander, de-nigration (reduction to the status of the negro), lies, murder, theft, robbery, pluder and rape and enslavement. They were expelled from Spain to Portugal, then deported from Portugal to North Africa, then on to West Africa, and finally in the Americas. And the order and the universe of the gods were overthrown, and chaos has reigned supreme ever since.
Wars in the North, South, East and West:
Due to its strategic location, Moorish Algrave Lagos played an important role in the eventual European domination of the world. Just like Roman emipire piggy-backed off the Moorish Carthaginian empire, so too did the later European states of the Roman Catholic Organization come to piggy-back off the terroritories, trade network and knowledge of the Moorish Empire.
King João I, one of the Visigoth/Viking descended agents of the Roman Catholic Organization assembled his fleet in the harbour of Lagos, before setting sail for the siege and conquest of the city of Ceuta in 1415. In the opening up of Moorish west Africa to the eventual domination of the European forces, this event has no matching watershed.
This was the first step in opening of Africa to the medieval Europe on its own terms which were armed aggression, robbery, trickery, treachery and enslavememnt. This was the so called age of Discovery with Portuguese Pirates and seas soldiers/crusaders sailing around the world and committing multiple genocide unchecked.
Prince Henry the Navigator, third son of King João I continued this systematic war of unprovoked aggression, subjugation and pluder against the “black-a-moors, who they now perceive as their mortal enemies and the only force that could stand between them and world domination. Prince Henry the Navigator lived most of the time in Lagos. He never navigated even a cannoe all his life yet he was called Henry the navigator. His name should have been Henry the hit contractor, for that was his real job.
Henry set up a priate work-shop in Algrave Lagos. This work-shop churned out hungry, desperate, amoral foot-soldiers to execute the evil design of the Roman Catholic Organization against the nation and people of the ancient Moorish empire. These soldiers were trained in the art of deception, cowardly warfare and all manners of perfidies.
Henry set up camp as the ultimate sea-war lord; pirate benefactor; hitman contractor par excellence. From Lagos he directed armed expeditions against the land of the Moors from Morocco and to Benin on the western coast of Africa.
Those piratical plunderers came with Carthaginian inspired caravels and lateen-rigged ships. They roamed the sea coasts just off the horizon out of sight of land lying in wait for the unsuspecting preys to be at their most defenceless before pouncing with pathological hunger and anger to devour and destroy all they can seize.
The Portugese of the Roman Catholic Organization called this shameless act of cowardice and war-crime, “expeditions” or “explorations” or voyages of “discovery”. No, they were shameless and extreme acts of cowardice, weakness and desperation. These war-crimes contributed singularly to the rise and the establisment of the Portugese trading network who as explained earlier simply piggy-backed on the material legacy and the real estate heritage of the ancient Moorish empire.
Following his great success in perfidious wars waged against the Moorish realms of west Africa and the Americas, booties, tributes, stolen treasures, and “the black gold” enslaved moors, flowed back to Henry the Mafia Contractor at his base in Lagos. Thus, it was through Lagos that the first moorish slaves stolen from Carribeans and Africa had entered post-medieval Europe. Henry received one fifth of the selling price of the slaves since he was the chief sponsor. This one fifth paid to Henry is what became the mercantile foundation of the “royalty” payments that is still found in major entertainment industries where humans and talents are still freely traded.
This illegitimate and evil system established in Lagos, Algrave moved to Lisbon upon the death of Henry the Contractor.
Other European attacks later came from Lagos Portugal, and some were very successful others were repulsed. Like that of the ill-fated Portugese King Sebastiao.King Sebastião was obsessed with great plans for a great crusade against the kingdom of Moors in Fez. He assembled a huge fleet in Lagos in 1578 and in the course of this ill-fated attempt he and most of Portugal’s nobility were killed in the Battle of Alcácer Quibir in Morocco.
In the annals of western aggression and eventual global domination, Lagos was at least as important during the “Age of so-called Discovery” as Cape Canaveral was during the early years of space exploration.
Postcripts
From the Year 1450 AD things began going really badly for the Moors all over southern Europe especially in Espana where they were losing so many wars and were divided and fighting amongst themselves.
So the Moors got defeated. And they got robbed and raped.
They robbed the glorious Moors, they killed them and then they sought to efface their names out of history. But they could not, for some Moors marooned off the coast of West Africa, had escaped into the forest regions of Africa, to lie there silently and lick their wounds, until the day of reckoning , when the Moorish flag and power shall stand again unchallenged over the lands and the seas.
The genetic and the spiritual descendants of the Moors still live on in west Africa where they fled for respite for the greater war that came to them. There they will rise again, for he who fights and runs aways, will live to fight another day.
Those Moors who were stranded off the coasts of west Africa numbered in hundreds of thousands. Their descendants number in hundreds of millions.
And who are those black-a-moors descendants?
Those descendants are feared and respected all over the European world even though they no longer know who they are or what they are about. Those descendants thrive and strive and do great things all over the world through great tribulations, yet they still do not know why and how come.
Because, the Roman Catholic inquisition which had also operated in Africa during the 18th century, and the Roman Catholic Colonial dispensation which has dissociated the African mentality and personality form the true roots, have hidden their true history and names from them.
But their ancestors left metaphysical triggers of memories for them. For in their recollection will come their redemption and re-ordonation as Priests and leaders of the earth. Yes, they left tell tales signs, landmarks, writings, and encoded words, sounds and memories for those who may care to remember.
Those 15th century Moorish refugees sailed to the coastal regions of the Atlantic in west Africa, along their ancient trade networks, in the great Empire of Benin amongst a people from whom they originally came. They had fled to the King of Benin for protection since the King of Benin was also a Moor and Benin was also part of the ancient Moorish world.
Nigerian historians recall that Moorish Portuguese sailor Sequeira had sailed to area now known as Lagos in 1472 with a ship load of Moorish refugees. It was then owned by the King of Benin who had provided permission to the homeless Moorish Portugese to settle in the area under his protection from the enemy who pursued them. It is said that they renamed the area around the city Lagos, meaning lakes.
There in the coastal regions of the Atlantic west Africa, they had founded a location strikingly similar to their ancient stronghold of Algraves. There they renamed Zawaia, Lagos, in the memory of their beloved capital in Algraves Portugal.
And just like old Lagos in Algraves, Lagos Nigeria has become the networked international capital of the ancient Moors who until now have only known themselves by their British bequeathed colonial name Niger-area, or Nigeria. Lagos Nigeria is old capital of Nigeria and is still the commercial capital. The state it is located in is actually named Lagos state.
It is a land of lakes and lagoons similar to the topography ethat obtains in Algrave Lagos. It is the center of a vast maritime network, ship building, banking, mining and other industrial activities. It is one of the biggest if not the biggest city of black Moors in the world.
There are more than 20 million powerful Moors living in Lagos today unaware of their spiritual and cultural legacy.

In the link posted here you will find ancient sculptures and modern videos of the real people of Palestine and Canaan:
THIS IS STRAIGHT TO THE FACT TIGHT RIGHT AND EXACT
Do you have any references to this matter? like books or classic text?
Interesting how Nordicists and Afrocentricists equally claim the history of middle easterners and southern europeans as their own. Portuguese people are proud of our partial middle eastern and Berber heritage. The bible and the koran aren’t reliable history books. Your concepts of race are outdated. Try reading the recent out of Africa theory. All peoples trace back to Africa, this has been proven by genetics. Color is merely an adaptation to climate through natural selection.
The Moors are the BLACK AMERICANS; not the people residing in Nigeria today. The contemporary Nigerians today are the offspring of the people who helped the mulatto & pale Europeans (who assumed the Portuguese nobility after the true blackamoors were bred out and overthrown in 1492) sell the Moors/Moslems/Ibri Hebrews. The contemporary Nigerians were did not rule the port towns of West Africa. They were waiting for their chance to take over their ports and partnered with the pale males because they could not defeat the Moors. Their hostility towards Black Americans aka the Moors is apparent today. They are still jealous of them & emulate them, and the Nigerians are still in bed with the pale males (especially Nigerian women) today.
As for the delusional people in North East Africa so called the middle east, they are not the people who were there 500 hundred years ago. They are a bastard amalgamation of various conquers and Caucasians from the mountains. Just as the pale people who claim to be true Americans today, so are the fake north east Africans who claim to be the true Sumerians, Persians, and Ethiopians.
Common sense is not common. May the true Moors rise again. The world hasn’t been the same since they fell.
Then name your kingdoms if you were in control of coastal west Africa. We had Oyo and Benin, Asante and Mali what did You coastal moors have name your city states and stop lying
