Thanks for the post. I saw this pic of the Berber woman before in another article detailing the history and cultivation of Argan oil and thought at that point- wow! She’s the original “Lady Liberty”. I think I have seen similar crowns- a bit more modified though, amongst Afar women. It’s a shame how history is consistently whitewashed.
