Michael Vick, 29, recently reinstated to the NFL has signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. He is set to join his new team on Friday.
Details of the deal were not immediately.
In August 2007 after Michael Vick pleaded guilty to a federal charge of bankrolling a dogfighting operation at one of his homes in Virginia. Vick got an indefinite suspension from the league.
Vick, was freed from federal prison at Leavenworth, Kansas, on May 20 and returned to his home to serve the last two months of his 23-month sentence in home confinement. The league recently lifted the indefinite suspension ban on Vick.
Vick is one of the most talented quater backs ever to grace the field of American football. Rasta Livewire believes that given his youth, he was bound to make mistakes in view of the power that the millions of dollars he had gave him.
But Vick has learnt his lessons. No more cruelty to dogs and animals. He has severed his sentence. It is time to give this prince of American football the chance to reign.
Long live Michael Vick. Rasta Livewire wishes you the best!
