Federal drug agents won’t pursue pot-smoking patients or their sanctioned suppliers in states that allow medical marijuana, under new legal guidelines to be issued Monday by the Obama administration.
Two Justice Department officials described the new policy to The Associated Press, saying prosecutors will be told it is not a good use of their time to arrest people who use or provide medical marijuana in strict compliance with state law.
The guidelines to be issued by the department do, however, make it clear that agents will go after people whose marijuana distribution goes beyond what is permitted under state law or use medical marijuana as a cover for other crimes, the officials said.

They must remember that positive and negative are sicknesses that all seem to forget are energy just as the e=mc2 of the mans madness that we all know as Albert Einstein. .energy is something that is given or taken without concent but none the less are forgotten. It is looked at as a drug in our country because it is another black market substance.not to mention they tried ‘not pot ‘ which had more chemicals than a cleaners van and have people now making this drug and is now also another black market drug so to speak.so lets just remember that 3 plants per household at anyone time off the year will free up a substantial amount of money needed for the low decile places in new Zealand. .they seem to forget that $200 in the 90s is more than half of its previous worth.the bills go up the tax stays the same and the jobs are simply not available because foreigners will do more for less and smile because our dollar holds value where we cant spend it!its a big joke and since the ttpa has gone through in my absence I strongly recommend this be fast tracked also.thankyou and god bless
