This definitely looks purely African. Like Somali dance and even Congolese dancing.
It is similar to the way the Somali women do Niko.

I’m not a big fan of that pop music Jahdey. Do like Papa Wembe though – and this pop music and dance which may be a better example of Congolese dance.
