Reports are coming of an impending famine in the United States, Mexico and Canada due to prolonged drought the worst since 1956.

The prices for a bushel of corn and a bushel of wheat are going to hit the highest the world has ever known. Because these three countries have by default or action become the bread basket of the entire world.

There is a run on prices in the spot markets and the commodity markets. Futures are rising without an end in sight. Commodity traders and grain exporters are bemused by the suddenness and severity of the drought, which is having its worst impact in the Midwest, but is being felt as far North as Canada.

This has been under the radar because the main stream press have not highlighted the situation.

But watch out, in the next few weeks. There is going to be a sense of panic out there. Food riots similar to the 2007/2008 food riots are around the corner. Even North America is not safe this time.

Revelations 6:6 –

And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.”
