Om Kalsoum
Many dancers in Egypt dance to her music. Ms. Kalsoum gave the legend Soheir Zaki
permission to dance to her songs. I came across the oriental dance sites by accident.
I saw FiFi Abdou dance to Kalthoum’s Lesa Fakir (Do you remember) in a video. That’s
when I switched to the video with Kalsoum actually singing Lesa Fakir. What a treat!!!
Then I turned to Soheir Zaki performing lesa Fakir. Readers here treat yourselves to
the song, the singer and the dancers to the song. I also recommend Awl Leila and
Enti Om (You are my life). That was the beginning of me writing Om Kalsoumisms here.
I dedicate these words to the transitioned Mahdi el Senussi.
The El Sennussi Clan,
You are particulary welcomed to attend the Fathers’ Day Handbell concert at
Riverside Church at 4pm. Location is 490 Riverside Drive near 120th St and near
Columbia Univ. We must remember Madhi.
Om Kalthoum
Ente Omri may have been sung in Paris on tour. Thank you for informing me of
Madhi el Senussi’s departure. Ente Omri is dedicated to his memory. He was a son of
Libya.
Om Kalsoum
was an actress before she mastered concert classical music
Song for the day. In terms of who died. Was it an El Senussi or Al Sennussi.
I am having a men’s show and I would like a muslim talk about lifestyle.
I was informed through this website that Madhi el Senussi has
died. I would like some information on his death, his family and
life.

Hi Cassandra,
I met you through Hodari many moons ago. Hope you’re well.
Has anyone heard of Mohammed Al Buni or Bunee, I’m not sure of the spelling. He was an officer in the Army of Libya that fought against Kadafi in 1969 or 1970. He was a friend of mine. What happened to him is important to me.
